To make peace with our past is not an easy feat. It is a process that needs patience and self-understanding. Mistakes of past can be a source for strength and maturity, but to get there we have to let go of our past that weighing us down. To make peace with the pain doesn't mean we forget about those memories, we have to embrace it so we can move forward. Soon, before we know it, all the pain becomes a distant memories that we can, hopefully, smiles upon. It is a part that makes our live, ours.

born. Pasuruan, 11 May 1996
Akbar Warisqia, often called Awa, started his career in art in 2014. He started by enlisting in Universitas Negeri Malang. After he graduated, he chose to go back to school again. But this time, he enlisted at Institut Seni Yogyakarta. He keeps himself busy by participating in many exhibitions since 2018.
 
His works are a play on lines. He also likes to use transparent and soft colors. He redefines the lines as symbols which keep on appearing on his artworks.
